Mo’s 90-Day No-Nonsense Guarantee
At Mo’s Music Market, most of what we sell has lived a life.
That’s part of the charm, but it also means you need to know that if something isn’t right, we’ll sort it.
So here’s the deal:
- If it fails, we fix it.
- If we can’t fix it, we replace it.
- If we can’t replace it, we refund it.
Simple as that.
What’s Covered
Our 90-Day No-Nonsense Guarantee covers:
- Electrical or mechanical faults
- Failures under normal use
- Issues that weren’t mentioned in the item description
If something stops working the way it should, we’ll step in and make it right.
What’s Not Covered
We try to be fair, not magical.
The following aren’t covered:
- Wear and tear (e.g. fret wear, cosmetic marks, ageing components)
- Consumables (strings, valves, batteries, etc.)
- Set-up preferences (action, string height, tone tweaks)
- Damage after delivery (drops, spills, creative destruction)
- Anything clearly described in the listing
If we’ve told you about it up front, it’s part of the instrument’s story, not a fault.
Pre-Owned Means Character
Most of our gear is pre-owned, which means:
- It may show signs of use
- It may not be cosmetically perfect
- It may have quirks (which we’ll always try to describe)
We test everything before it goes out, but this isn’t a warehouse full of identical boxes, it’s a rotating collection of real instruments with history.
How It Works
If something’s wrong:
- Get in touch with us via the Contact page
- Tell us what’s happening (photos/videos help)
- We’ll guide you through the next step
We’ll usually:
- Arrange a repair, or
- Offer a replacement (if available), or
- Provide a refund
Returns vs Warranty
This guarantee sits alongside your legal rights.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013:
- You have a 14-day return period for online orders
- You have the right to reject faulty goods within 30 days
- Faults within 6 months may still be covered by law
This guarantee is an extra layer of reassurance, not a replacement for those rights.
A Note from Mo
Mo insists on buying interesting things.
Some are rare. Some are beautiful. Some are slightly unhinged.
All of them should work.
If they don’t, he’ll sort it.
